Port-Cartier, April 11, 2024 – ArcelorMittal Mines and Infrastructure Canada, its employees and the five locals of the United Steelworkers Union are strengthening their commitment to the community by donating $392,468 to Centraide Duplessis, surpassing last year’s record.
“Being an active member of the community means supporting each other and demonstrating sensitivity toward others. The current economic context exerts significant pressure on the most vulnerable. I am proud of the solidarity, commitment and generosity of our people in fighting poverty and social exclusion on the North Shore. I warmly thank our employees and collection teams for their outstanding work,” said Mapi Mobwano, President and CEO of ArcelorMittal Mining Canada.
